BIONAT
Who are they ?
BIONAT markets three purpose-driven brands offering sauces, mustards, and condiments rooted in authentic and responsible food values.
Bister, a Belgian heritage brand founded in 1926, blends tradition and local innovation and launching the first 100% organic Belgian mustard and mayonnaise with local farmers.
Natura, established in 1939, champions simplicity and quality. Starting with mayonnaise, the brand now offers a fully organic range of dressings and spreads since 2023.
Bioster, created in 2001, supplies organic products to specialized retailers. With French roots, it relocated its mustard cultivation to the Aube region and developed 100% French recipes in collaboration with a flavor expert.
MISSION
As a company committed to authentic and responsible food, Bionat/Bioster set out to certify its three brands and two production sites as B Corp in 2023.
To support this ambition, ESGlogic helped structure and implement a step-by-step transformation plan, starting with the creation of an internal ESG team. The process included setting up ethical governance tools, enhancing employee wellbeing through feedback systems and surveys, developing a local sourcing strategy, and establishing an environmental data tracking system.
The group also strengthened its stakeholder engagement by launching client satisfaction surveys, exploring employee mobility solutions, and raising internal awareness with a Climate Fresk workshop. This holistic approach helped anchor sustainability in the company’s long-term strategy
